Berat, the city that shines from within, rises through its houses stacked one above another, with windows reflecting the sun, the moon, and memory itself. The city is portrayed as a mosaic of hillside houses—an architecture built not only of stone, but of patience, family, and remembrance. Surrounding it, blue and transparent Swarovski crystals form an aura of light, echoing the reflection of the Osum River as it mirrors the city each morning. Like chains of stones, rays of light descend across the rooftops. Each crystal captures a reflection, a moment, a breath—recreating the way Berat glows when sunlight touches one of its 1001 windows. Two metals—silver and gold—coexist within this piece, just as they do in Berat itself: ancient and modern, silent and alive, earth and light.
